Haven't We Had Enough?

A friend of mine who is a constant visitor of this blog once asked me why I'm not posting anything about the current state of our country. I asked her, "Haven't you had enough?" I didn't say it an irritable manner coz she kept on bugging me about that. It's just that I've really had enough. It's very confusing and depressing all at the same time. When you turn on the TV or the radio, that's what they're blaring. In every turn of the pages in the newspaper, images and articles about the Gloriagate scandal greets you. Honestly, I would really want to have one day, just one day, without all these politics.

With everyone coming up with their own exposes, revelations, blamings et al. our country is suddenly becoming one of the most chaotic places on earth. We've already had a bad reputation before and it's becoming worse now.

With everyone putting their two cents in, I really don't wanna join in the clangor. Coz everytime someone speaks up, everything is becoming more and more confusing. And I don't know who's telling the truth. I could've chosen sides but then again, I'd rather be indifferent because at this point, no one among those fighting for power in the government doesn't really care about any of us. Unless somebody really becomes selfless enough to genuinely think about the country and its people then we'll never have the political stability we really need.

I've had enough of politics. It's dirtier than ever. And don't even give me that excuse that it's same everywhere in the world. If that is true, then why don't we make a difference and clean up?
